I was Director of Photography for Pineapple Productions’ The Smokin’ Saga. The comedic film noir detective series is shot in the La Jatée style – constructed almost entirely of still images and dubbed audio. When it was all said and done I had taken 13,000 photos and edited about 900 of them for use in the film. The Smokin’ Saga saw both episodic and theatrical release in the spring of 2022.
